Have
you ever been deeply moved by beautiful music, a speech, a play,
a poem, a painting, or the way a smile spread across the face of
a child after he or she made their first joke? If
you have, perhaps this is a calling for you to enhance your
skills in the arena of artistic expression. We know that it is
important to encourage the gifts of our members. Are your
talents in the areas of music,
dramatic reading, liturgical expression, dance or the visual
arts? We encourage you to get involved with us at Immanuel.

"One of my favorite local
artists that I've had the pleasure of spinning on Fresh Fish
Friday. Give them a listen, you won't be sorry!" Bob
Shaw, Music Director for KFSH, 95.9 FM The Fish.

The liturgical team, the up-front leaders of Sunday worship, create the tone of the service by writing the Prayers of Illumination, Calls to Offering, and Prayers of Thanksgiving. In addition they lead the congregation in the Prayers of Confession, Assurances of Pardon and Affirmations of Faith. If your heart is moved to express your love for God through words, then this is the place to get involved.
You will be asked to lead in one worship service each quarter, and to write the appropriate prayers for that particular Sunday.
